Discover Meditation

If you’re new to meditation and would like to have a go, why not do that over a weekend retreat aboard Spirited Away? As a setting, you can’t get much better. It’s far from the madding crowd, surrounded by nature and a small group setting. We take a maximum of six guests at a time so that it’s nice and spacious.

Over the course of the weekend, we’ll ask questions such as “why meditate?” and “how can I set up a regular practice?”. Rather than giving answers, we’ll explore these questions together with lots of opportunities to practice. As you’ll find out, meditation is subtly different for everyone and the benefits are far-reaching. By the end of the weekend, you may find yourself moving a little slower, feeling a little more alive and going away inspired by all that you have experienced.

Though your hosts, Kev and Tor, aren’t formally qualified meditation teachers they’ve each been trying to foster meditation practises in their own lives for more than ten years. Their down-to-earth, light-hearted, honest and friendly approach will make you feel comfortable and at ease. For them it’s not so much teaching as sharing experiences, the ups and the downs. And as both of them are far from “having it all sussed out”, this retreat will be an opportunity for everyone to discover meditation together.

Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th June
